Wagner Charters is a father and son family owned business. This business venture began as a part time operation offering fishing charters and boat charters on weekends. Captain Bob holds a U.S. Coast Guard Masters credential and is a U.S. Air Force vet. He retired in 2015 from a Director of Engineering/Electrical Engineering profession to operate this charter business full time.
After 40 yrs of fishing these Pacific waters he would like to share what he has learned with others who enjoy the ocean and all of its sea life. Robert serves as first mate and alternate skipper on Wagner Charters. He has been fishing these ocean waters with his dad for the past 30 yrs. Robert ensures that all passengers get any assistance they need and have a thoroughly enjoyable experience on the water.

All weekday and weekend prices below are based on groups of 4, per (extra) person cost shows as well. Max is 6 people. You will receive 9hrs total in the time from of 6am-5pm. You may customize your 9hrs with the earliest/latest departure times as indicated in Option 1. Spend some time in the water with the fish at your own private cove.

Tackle recommendations for those unfamiliar with ocean fishing. Two Fishing poles (medium light or medium heavy) and tackle. We recommend one reel spooled with a minimum of 400 ft (133 yd) 10lb-20lb test line for bottom fishing Rockfish, Sculpin, Halibut or fly lining bait. The other reel spooled with 400ft of 25lb-40lb test line for trolling or surface fishing if Tuna, Yellowtail, Bonita or Barracuda are in the area.
