Cochon Wines was founded in 2004 by Adam Webb and Mike Kuenz, who began their winemaking journey by sourcing grapes from two rows in an Old Vine Grenache vineyard in Amador County. Our mission is to highlight the diverse terroirs of Northern California and Oregon by focusing on mature, unique vineyard sites and Old Vine fruit from Sonoma County and the Northern Willamette Valley. We specialize in Rhone, Burgundian, and Alsatian varietals, employing a non-interventionist approach that prioritizes native yeasts and minimal use of new oak and SO2 to let the sense of place shine through. Our Sonoma Tasting Bar offers daily outdoor service, featuring wine flights, cheese and charcuterie boards, and espresso, with local delivery available for Sonoma residents.Wine Club memberships provide exclusive access to limited-production wines, discounts, and invitations to special events. Walked in here yesterday evening on a whim without a reservation. Carlo warmly accommodated us with a lovely outdoor table in the sun. (But he also carefully adjusted the sun-brella several times to ensure it wasnt in our eyes.)
Started with a cortado from the European coffee service that took me back to time spent in Italy.
Followed that up with a cheese board and wine flight (I got the Burgundy, my friend got the Fall). Both were a delicious progression, and Carlo was very knowledgeable about the wines, answered all of our questions, and was attentive to our needs. This was a wonderful

Some excellent whites and sparkling wines. the value is one of the best in the area. joined the club on our first try and don't regret drinking their wines over the last few months. will definitely buy more.

Such a gem! Sophia was amazing and so patient with us. The wines were amazing as well. We were traveling by plane so we weren't able to buy wines but definitely part of our new favs. Will be stopping by here again next time we are in the area.

We came here on the advice of the sommelier, Brandon, at Zina's (also fabulous, please see that review). It did not disappoint. Jay was our host and he was super easy going, fun to talk to and I felt like he would be the kind of person I would love to hang out with, he even had music suggestions. Great talks, and great recommendations on wine. We especially enjoyed "Whole Hog" aka "Big Daddy". All in all 5/5, would highly recommend, Jay was our favorite sommelier of the day. We took two bottles based on his wine notes.

We vsited Cochon this past Saturday April 17th. Prior to that i spoke with the owner Carlo. I was absolutely amazed with the service i received over the phone. Carlo was so helpful. He made my husband's birthday so special by designing a flight called Peter Jackson Birthday Flight, worked with me over the phone, via email to select wines, Charcuterie board . Personalized tasting menu with his name on it. And our server was J. He has the most wonderful war personality. Very knowledgeable. Cochon is my personal favorite wine tasting place. They go above and beyond to take care of their customers
