Cook's Auto Rebuild established in 1947 by Dick Cook and his father Howard. Howard Cook began working in the Industry in 1918, working for many large auto shops in the Seattle area. The original location of Cook's Auto Rebuild was on 92nd and Aurora Avenue in North Seattle. Cook's Auto Rebuild moved to it's current location on Lake City Way in 1957 and has expanded several times as property became available.
