One of the biggest pros of a CU over a bank is customer service, however, I cannot say that for TBFCU since the start of the pandemic. At this point its been over 2 years, businesses should have made adjustments to accommodate there customers. The Member Service Call Center have extremely long wait times and very inconvenient hours. On Wednesday they open at 10am!!! I called at around 10:30am, and waited 1 hour and 9 mins before someone could answer the phone. Ive never waited this long for any customer service besides USPS .

Dealt with a very incompetent Elisabeth Rodriguez because of friend referral to the company. She was always late on responses and always "working on it later" deal. Application process took a while but was approved for the loan amount (a very small loan by the way) a week later after being strung along, she wanted 2 yrs of W2 to prove overtime, well overtime is not what is, was, or what it is now, income should have stand alone or not, but no. I was strung along for the ride and when questioned her...well it's been 2 weeks without her incompetent self to answer emails. I'll never deal with Tampa

I have a HELOC through TBFCU, and am using the funds to buy a house in a foreign country. Given this and the amount of the funds, there has been some logistical and procedural hurdles to jump over. Sharon from TBFCU has been amazing with guiding me through the process to ensure a smooth transfer of funds; super responsive, clear and concise, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind.
