Our primary purpose is to make every one of your rides better by connecting you with the best equipment, optimizing your fit, comfort and performance, and keeping your bike finely tuned. Don't think of us as a bike shop, a place where you come to buy things. Think of us as cycling community center, a place you come to find answers, make connections, and enrich the active, outdoors part of your life.
From custom frames to hand-built wheels, together we pick out all the components producing a ride specific to you.

About
Report
Wheel Werks is the result of owner Bob Olsen's restless, 30-year pursuit of cycling perfection. Beginning as a junior road and criterium racer, his passion has taken him to Europe, Africa and South America, across the United States (as a Race Across America team mechanic) three times, and to scores of camps and clinics where he lectures on bike fitting.
Services
Report
All Wheel Werks services have the goal of safety, optimal functioning, and maximizing bicycle longevity. We believe that dollars invested in periodic service should improve your cycling experience and ultimately save you money, by making your bike and all its components last longer. We encourage you to choose the service your bike needs, and promise we'll deliver that great riding experience you're looking for.
Custom Bike Builds
Report
At Wheel Werks, we believe every rider can benefit from having a bike built just for them. Too many riders think of a custom bike just in terms of the frame geometry and reason that a good bike fitting can give them everything a custom build can deliver. This is a basic misunderstanding of the value our custom partners (Seven and Parlee) can deliver.
Fitting
Report
When leading a rider to their best possible position on the bike, there is no substitute for experience. Technology can help. Training can help. But there is simply no substitute for the long hours of experience that teach a fitter how the human body, in all its shapes and sizes, best sits on a bike.
Brands
Report
First, we gathered a range of products we liked, and then asked whether each thing solved a problem our riders really have. We pared down. Then we looked at accessibility. Did we have things that were affordable for the full gamut of riders we serve? We added some things back in. Then we applied our decades experience.
