Main Street Bicycles was started in 2004 with the mission of being one of the greatest full-service bike shops around while supporting the bicycle community in as many ways as possible. Located in historic Old Town Carpentersville, we're pedal strokes from the Fox River Trail system connecting the entire Fox Valley with other wonderful trail systems in Northern Illinois.

We can help you get fitted for you next Trance, Stance, Anthem, XTC, Fathom, Yukon, Reign, Talon, Revolt, Toughroad, TCX, Defy, TCR or many other models. This line of bikes from Giant is designed specifically for women.

We carry accessories from Blackburn, CatEye, Continental, Giro, Park Tool, Planet Bike, SRAM, Shimano, Sunlite, Tifosi, and Vittoria to name a few! We have a great stock of gear that will help keep your bike going, and we can order custom parts when needed. But the most valuable service we offer is our advice.

From a simple tire repair to a complete overhaul, we can service your bike whatever the make or model. Many repairs can be turned around the same day. If we can fix it on the spot, we will. And if we need more time, we'll let you know when to stop by to pick it up. Come in, call or email us soon so we can make that important repair or adjustment and get you back on your bike ASAP.

Our shop is directly on the trail, so just start riding North or South from our parking lot. The singletrack trails that CAMBr has built at Raceway Woods in Carpentersville are outstanding. This area has seen a huge reformation thanks to the efforts of some very dedicated volunteers. If you're looking to catch some air, check out the CAMBr jump park at Keith Andres Park in Carpentersville.
