Excel Speech Therapy Center, Inc is a centrally located private practice specializing in providing speech and language therapy services to children, teens, and adults. Excel therapists are energetic and dedicated to providing quality therapy services in family-centered clinics. Excel therapists are highly skilled, state licensed, and nationally certified.

Katherine L M.A., CCC-SLP, owner of Excel Speech Therapy Center for over 20 years, is originally from Northern California. Katherine was the second oldest of six children and spent her early years taking care of younger siblings and babysitting for families throughout her teenage years. She was an instructional assistant for children with special needs during her college years and enjoyed working with children.

Excel Speech Therapy Center opened its doors in 2001 focusing on creating a fun, safe, family friendly environment with an emphasis on improving patient's functional speech and communication skills. Excel partnered with O.T. Etc in 2003 and PT in Motion joined our group shortly thereafter forming our unique multidisciplinary team, providing speech, occupational, and physical therapy services in a family centered environment.

Speech and language screenings target particular problem areas of your child's skills in order to determine if a more in-depth evaluation is appropriate. Screenings for young children identify any possible problems with a child's pronunciation, her ability to communicate with adults or peers, her use and understanding of language, voice production and quality, and stuttering or fluency issues.
