Opening in 1995, we are proud to be Keene's first brewery, bringing American brewing traditions lost to prohibition (1919 - 1933) back to the region. Owned and operated by Debra Rivest since its conception, Elm City Brewing Company has become known for superb food and well crafted beers. At our core, we believe in serving fresh, homemade, flavorful food at all times.

Since our opening in 1995, we have brewed countless styles of beer. From German lagers to Belgian Dubbels, and American IPA's to English porters, we are always trying different techniques and experimenting with new ingredients so we can deliver the best possible products to our fans. We have won many awards for a variety of our brews, most notably a gold medal in both the World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival for our Abbey Dubbel.

Unfortunately, due to size and space limitations of our kitchen, we are unable to accommodate take out orders during peak hours or when the restaurant is filled to capacity. Green leaf lettuce, chopped tomatoes, onions, peppers, black olives, black beans & shredded cheddar cheese. All served on your choice of white, wheat, pumpernickel, rye, wraps, or our homemade bread.
