This place is a must stop on every trip I make to and from Vermont. I had a dinner planned and still picked up a Vermont veggie to have for lunch the next day. Their Mac n cheese is wonderful, and I love the take and bake option! I don't know how new it is because I didn't come up much in covid. Amazing. Eat everything there! (Just maybe not all at once). Something for everyone.

The Mac & Cheese is made in a cast iron skillet. Full flavor. In order to justify the 3hr drive for the Mac n cheese I often go skiing in VT just to stop here on my way home. Best meal to go, after a memorable day of skiing.

This is the absolute best country store stop to make when in southern Vermont. We always stop here on the way home from capturing fall foliage across New England. They are just outside Brattleboro on RT 9. You will know you're close because the traffic always slows around this stop. Drive slow and be aware of cars backing out of the lot because the parking is right up against the highway. The deli has two buildings separated by Williams St. You can park in either lot to experience the location. The deli is where you get the fresh food and maple goods. Very popular place! We drove over from Maine and it was worth it! The pulled pork and mac & cheese were delicious! And the desserts!! We got a great variety and they were all wonderful! Definitely worth the drive.

My husband and I visited this place on vacation from out of state two years ago. I think we came here a total of 3 times in our 24 hours in town, we were that obsessed. We STILL talk constantly about how this deli has the BEST sandwiches weve ever had in our lives. I am also gluten-free (wheat allergy) and vegetarian if that tells you anything about how pleasantly surprised I was. We literally dream of the day we get to come back for more. The staff was also super sweet, accommodating, and welcoming. They also had a great selection of food and drink items!
