My true love for baking cakes began at the tender age of 44. Seriously! Whoever said you were too old to chase your dreams? I had spent my entire career in the medical field until one day, a co worker asked if I had any interest in helping her decorate a cake. Then, I was officially bitten by the baking bug!
For several years after that first bake, I decided to begin baking and decorating cakes for family and friends at home in the moonlight hours, after a full days work in the medical field. Hence the name, Moonlight Cakes! So there I was, a full-time job, a full-time mom, and a part-time baker. Word began to spread and before I knew it, Moonlight Cakes went from a fun creative hobby to a full time job.

Our tastings are $40.00 for a maximum of 4 people. If you book with us at your tasting, your $40.00 tasting fee will be credited to your overall wedding cake balance. Our tastings are unique to Moonlight Cakes. For weddings with 100 or more guests we block an hour for your tasting and let you and your guest (up to 4 people, total) sample 7 of our top cake flavors and all of our fillings.
