Nicole Lewis Couple & Family Therapist
My name is Nicole Lewis and I help couples who are stuck in a cycle of arguing and feeling disconnected learn how to better communicate and heal from past hurts. I want to help couples strengthen their bond and connection so couples feel safe to be open and expressive with feelings and emotions. Being able to share our pain with our partner is the best way to heal and move forward together in the relationship.

I know it can feel scary to share what is happening deep down in our gut with each other, but I promise to help you both be able to share in a way where you can be heard, understood, and validated. Strong emotion comes up for good reason and I will help you be able to share in a way that lowers our defenses towards each other.

We must know what these raw spots are and be able to speak about them in a way that pulls our partner closer to us. - Sue Johnson, Hold Me Tight: Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love. You work so hard to try and be a team and stay connected, but each time you try to connect, it doesn't seem to work and you end up feeling more and more alone.

However, I know how hard and painful all the emotions are that come along aside. Each of you is hurting in a different way. The partner that has been betrayed likely feels so much hurt and pain, anger, sadness, and just a soup of emotions. I know how hard this is for both of you in very different ways.
