Report
There are a variety of reasons why you may need to see a foot doctor. The musculoskeletal system of the feet, ankles, and lower legs involve many different parts that have to work together in unison to create smooth and pain-free movement. If any of these parts are not functioning properly, the whole system can suffer!
Ingrown Toenails
Report
Ingrown toenails are a common condition where the corner of a toenail grows into the soft flesh surrounding the toe (usually the big toe). Ingrown toenails can be very uncomfortable, painful, and can easily lead to an infection in the toe.

It is possible to take care of ingrown toenails on your own, but if the pain does not subside, Hillsboro Foot Clinic can take steps to relieve the pain and help you avoid further complications caused by ingrown toenails.
Bunion
Report
Bunions are painful bone deformities in the big toe. When the toe is misaligned, the joint in the toe grows larger, creating a protuberance over time. These lumps can cause constant pain from rubbing against shoes, which in turn, irritates the joint resulting in a large bump. If treated early, bunions can be corrected.
Orthotics
Report
If you're experiencing pain in your feet, knees, legs, and/or back as a result of wearing shoes with little to no support, custom foot orthotics may be right for you! Custom foot orthotics are designed to align the foot and ankle into the most anatomically efficient position. They look similar to insoles, but are biomedical appliances that are custom made to correct your specific foot imbalance.
Warts
Report
Plantar warts are caused by the HPV virus and cause tiny cuts and breaks on the bottom of your feet. While most plantar warts are not a major health concern, it is advised you see a doctor to have the warts examined and removed. Some symptoms include small, rough lesions on the base of the foot, calluses in one spot, and tenderness when walking or standing for long periods of time.
