Ankle sprains are caused by an unnatural twisting or force on the ankle bones of the foot, often resulting in one or more ligaments on the outside of the ankle to be stretched or torn. If not properly treated, ankle sprains could develop into long-term problems. Bunions are misaligned big toe joints that can become swollen and tender, causing the first joint of the big toe to slant outward, and the second joint to angle toward the other toes.

Dr. Myers graduated from Des Moines University, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery after obtaining her Bachelors degree at the University of California, Davis. She then completed a three-year Surgical residency at the Legacy/ Kaiser Portland Hospitals in Portland, Oregon. In 2004, she established and currently owns a private practice with a focus on sports medicine injuries and orthotic therapy.

If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. We like to stay on a strict schedule and you may be rescheduled if you are more than 10 minutes late. In addition, a $50 charge will be billed if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment.
