Happy Cat Grooming
It is common belief that cats "groom themselves". Yes, cats do lick themselves, and their raspy tongue does aid in the neatening of their hair. But just as with dogs, our feline friends can benefit from regular professional grooming to enhance not only their appearance, but their comfort & health as well.

Christine (Chrissy) been working with pets via veterinary medicine since she 1996. While new to grooming, she has extensive experience working with and caring for animals. In 2003 she graduated from Joliet Junior College with a degree in Veterinary Medical Technology and soon after passed licensing exams and became a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).

FAQ’s

Yes cats do clean themselves and are often viewed as very clean animals, but they can absolutely benefit from a professional grooming. They cannot take care of all of their grooming needs, such as removing excess hair and undercoat and excess oils on their skin on their own. Without professional grooming, these things can lead to problems in your pet such as excessive hairballs, matting, dandruff, skin irritation and infections, etc.
Cat Grooming?? I didn’t know cats needed grooming
Report
This has been a common question and statement made to me since making the decision to take over this business and "the cat mobile" as I affectionately call it, from Cheryl. So here are my answers, yes I am grooming cats and no it does not mean I am abandoning my vet tech training. In fact I am using my degree and my 20 years of veterinary experience quite a bit in this new venture.
