Even though I've been playing for quite some time, the return to fundamentals was exactly what I needed. Now my game is stronger and I'm skating way more efficiently. Unlike most camps, this camp is not run by a former player, but an aspiring player. I never played in the Pros, the Juniors, or Europe. In fact, I never even played organized youth hockey. I played street hockey as a kid, and did not decide to play organized ice hockey until I was 30 years old. That was one of the best decisions of my life!

In January of 2015 the rink manager of the Ann Arbor Ice Cube reached out to Weekend Warriors. He expressed interest in bringing Weekend Warriors to the Ice Cube based on all of the good things he had heard about our camps. After giving it a try that summer, we discovered it was a huge hit! Not only was the camp popular in demand, but the facilities were top notch.
