Where are your surf lessons located?

What is your instructor certification standard?

I loved my surf lesson with Jordan -- having surfed a handful of times, I enjoyed the 1:1 instruction and will definitely be back. Thanks as well to Christian for coordinating, and advice re: times to head out (best waves/before the crowds). I highly recommend Progressive Surf Academy for their unique approach.

Thank you Progressive Surf Academy for showing my niece and nephew how to surf! They had a blast. PSA coaches are professional, seasoned, and great with all age groups. PSA taught me how to surf many years ago. And I wanted to give these athletic kiddos a chance to learn early. As soon as my daughter is old enough she will be learning through PSA as well. PSA surf lessons are an unforgettable experience for kids. They are the best surf school in all of Southern California. It just doesnt get better than them.

I strongly recommend Progressive Surf Academy. This was the best surf coach that I have ever had. Christian is great at spotting and explaining the area that you need to work on. He gives very detailed and clear explanations. In addition, Christian is always stocked to be in the water and pushes you to catch more waves. Overall, this was an amazing experience!

Highly recommend Progressive!!! Christian is one of the best instructors I've ever had, providing clear guidance while closing watching all of my mistakes (and even a few successes)! I learned a tremendous amount over two lessons that I'm taking back home to my East Coast turf. Looking forward to surfing again with Christian and Greg.

We had a great experience with Progressive Surf on our family's visit to Solana Beach. My 3 boys (ages 11, 9, & 8) have never surfed before and loved the lesson and surf time. Well worth it to have the gear/wetsuits, 2 hr lesson, and expert instruction. Highly recommend it to anyone!

First time surfing, ever! Up on the first try! Didnt waste time on the sand or low areas, and got pointers and tips throughout from Greg and Christian, both incredible guys and great coaching all around! Whether youre a first timer or just want to get better, book a lesson with Progressive Surf Academy!!! You will not regret it!!! Thanks guys! Had the best time!

Great lesson! Christian is a great teacher. I felt he was actually invested in teaching me to surf rather than getting me through the lesson. I caught more waves in one lesson with Christian than I had in MANY other sessions combined. Ill definitely be back.
