Poipu Beach Surf School teaches people how to surf at the Sheraton Beach in Poipu.
It is very safe, with only four people per instructor. Instructors also stay with the surfers for the full lesson, never leaving them alone in the ocean. Surf Lessons

Perfect for ages 6-76. For ages 6-9, Doug recommends private lessons, which guarantees that the child will ride more waves than in a group lesson. Semi-private is for groups of 2-3 people. This lesson is perfect for friends or family who want to be in a lesson together with no one else. 1 person maximum.

They provide all of the gear, and no matter what your skill level is, I guarantee you'll ride many waves during your time in the water.

Poipu Beach is perfect for beginner surfers with beginner-friendly waves, and it also has a reef break for the more experienced surfers. Poipu Beach has a lifeguard on duty 7 days a week to keep your mind at ease if you have never surfed.
