Rock and Roll University is a music school in Hauppauge, NY offering private lessons and band performance programs for all ages and skill levels. Our private lessons include training with percussion, brass, woodwinds, strings, & vocals. Students that participate in Rock and Roll University's five month Semester Band Performance Program will have the opportunity to perform on stage in front of a live audience at a concert venue in the community!
Our Summer Program is offered to students throughout the summer months of July and August. Our logic training helps students to develop and embrace musical recordings through editing. Musical Theater is a 90 minute drama program instructed by an experienced theater professional. Our students have come a long way!

Located at 531 Hauppauge Blvd (Rt 111), in Hauppauge, we have students attending our school from many neighboring towns, including St. James, Smithtown, Nesconsent, Lake Grove & Ronkonkoma. We have been serving the Long Island community since 1984 and offer a multitude of music lessons and programs for students of all ages and skill levels.
Band Rehearsal

This is a unique opportunity for students to Rock Out with other students in our performance based program. These sessions are weekly 90 minute sessions directed by a professional musical instructor and are offered at our facility which includes a full stage with a P.A. system, keyboard, drums, and amplifiers.
Musical Theater

Musical Theater is a 90 minute drama program instructed by an experienced theater professional. Classes will teach theater development. Students will participate in script reading (or script memorization though CD) and/or Broadway style music. Our students will gain skills in stage blocking, musical performance, & development with emoting through body language and facial expression.
Special Needs Performance Groups

RNRU serves people of all abilities. Our Special Needs Performance Groups support the need and desire in our community for people with special needs to have a unique opportunity to participate in an activity they really enjoy during day or evening hours. Rock-n-Roll U has put together a menu of services in the the area of music and musical theater.
Private Lessons

Our music school in Hauppauge, NY offers a wide variety of private music lessons and are personalized for each individual student's level. We encourage your child's love of music in a comfortable and supportive way, which in turn builds self esteem and dedication to their instrument of choice. Students who enroll in private music lessons will attend a one on one weekly music lesson with a professionally trained musical instructor.
