Located just 15 mins from Uptown Charlotte, the Charlotte Equestrian Club has something for everyone. Nestled back in the woods with a secluded mountainous feel, the facility includes 2 rings, a Grand Prix field, bridle paths, and hiking trails. The club offers lessons, leasing, sales, showing, and clinics.
We also host Birthday parties with pony rides and super friendly farm animals, who are also the stars of Farm Camp 2019! At Charlotte Equestrian Club, our goal is to be an advocate of the Horse. The Club wishes to provide exposure to newcomers and education to equestrians of all levels. Horses increase one's self-confidence, lower stress levels, sharpen the mind, and develop balance and coordination.

Our facility offers the following services in addition to multiple events throughout the year. The Charlotte Equestrian Club is currently accepting applications for interns, working students and volunteers. The internship positions require a resume and video of the applicant riding. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to learn the horse business from the ground up.
Farm Camp

At Charlotte Equestrian Club, we know that people can live in harmony with animals and the earth. Our goal is to give campers the opportunity to immerse themselves in an environment that creates a lifelong love and respect of animals and the earth that we share. Through chores, animal husbandry, and games, our focus is on kindness and teamwork.
Lessons & Leasing

Several well trained and experienced horses are available for on site leasing. This is a great opportunity for people who want to ride multiple times per week. This allows for three riding days, one is your weekly lesson and the other two days are supervised rides, creating a wonderful environment in which to learn and grow systematically.

The grounds are gorgeous. It is like being transported to a beautiful country farm but it's only a couple of turns off a major road. A hidden treasure! I used to ride when I was a kid & wanted to try it again. Jeanne is an incredible teacher. She put me at ease & by the end of my first lesson, I already felt super confident (& started to remember my technique!)
