Located above the sparkling blue waters of Colvos passage, NHEC is a premier equestrian facility catering to individuals seeking peace and empowerment through equine friendships. We have recently joined the Gig Harbor Community and offer a unique and exciting paradigm that cultivates the bond between horse and human.
NHEC is under the direction and management of Sabrina Duncan. As an Equine Behaviorist, Sabrina started her journey with horses as a child, and every chapter since has been shared with equine friends. As a professional she has immersed herself in the Equine Industry as a Barn Manager, Horse Trainer, Lesson Coach, Clinician, Educator, Equine Advocate, AQHA and APHA breeder, and as a competitor in the AQHA, APHA, and NRHA.

Before coming to NHEC I had hit a huge rut with my horse and was struggling to connect with him. Sabrina worked us out of our rut and gave me a whole new perspective! Tejon Please, aka "Gator" is a pivotal component of NHEC; as the capstone to our breeding program and Sabrina's favorite riding partner. He is easy to be around, kind hearted, has a tremendous work ethic, and a personality above and beyond his pedigree and conformation. Gator enjoys life, and can be heard enthusiastically welcoming any human or horse, to NHEC.
