A full-service boarding and training facility - proudly partnered with CWD, MDC Stirrups, Hemlock Hat Co, Charles Ancona and Horse Talk Mobile. Hunter's Run Equestrian Center has been training hunters, jumpers and equitation for over 30 years. We offer a school horse program, horse showing, sales and leasing, and quality board and training.
Our horses and riders compete in all levels ranging from lead line to Grand Prix. We offer coaching for hunters, jumpers, and equitation at local, national and international "A" shows.

Our Training Program

We train horses and riders of all ages and experience levels from beginners to advanced. We offer specialized coaching for hunters, jumpers, and equitation at local, national and international "A" shows. Our lesson program begins with lunge lessons for our new young riders on seasoned school horses.

Hunter's Run is pleased to be the home of trainers Colleen Armstrong, Meghann Gjersten, Lindsay Levy and Leigh Doherty. Colleen (pictured here with daughter and fellow trainer Meghann) has owned and been the head trainer at Hunter's Run for 30 years. She brings many years of experience to horse care, client satisfaction as well as a life-long love of horses, people and horse shows.
Our Facility

Hunter's Run facilities include large stalls, indoor and outdoor arenas, and generous grass turnout. All horses and ponies are turned out as often as weather permits on large grass pastures. Leg washing and blanket changes are available as needed. We utilize our entire farm to maximize our turnout opportunities.
Lessons Board and Training
Report
Our full board and training program includes the following : full care (including administration of additional supplements), turnout (weather permitting) seasonal body clipping, blanket services, scheduling of veterinary and farrier services and all show preparation for horse and client. Full board and training includes lessons, hacking and professional rides.
