YNS was founded in 2008 by Jim Keegan, grounded by his philosophy of life and an ongoing commitment to providing learning opportunities that build spiritual awareness and support people's health and well being at any age, ability, and experience level. At YNS, students of yoga can pursue their health goals, grow their practice, and deepen their skills and awareness.

We are pleased to be able to offer in-person and virtual classes (per AZDHS and CDC guidance) as well as outdoor yoga experiences (as the weather permits) at the beautiful Singh Meadows in Tempe. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as health and safety guidelines for businesses are subject to change based on federal, state, and local mandates.

We accept all the usual forms of payment: cash, credit card or touchless (online/prepay), venmo. Yoga Nirvana Studio and our instructors follow health and safety protocols per CDC and as required by federal, state and local guidelines/mandates. Bring your own mat (and props if you need them) - no mat rentals or studio props are available at this time.

Our offerings change and evolve to fit community need and demand. Please check the schedule for what's happening this week, These are descriptions of a few classes we offer. Yoga is a moving meditation for practitioners of all levels - beginner to advanced. All poses can be modified to best suit your needs.
Teacher Training YTT

Students who enroll in our program leave with a rich body of knowledge that far surpasses just knowing the asanas. Our comprehensive curriculum is a good value whether you are looking to deepen your own practice or begin your career as a teacher.
YNS Teacher Training costs $2,800 (single payment in full, due in advance, upon acceptance into the program; books and materials extra), or $3,200 (structured payment option by permission of instructor only.Non-refundable downpayment due to reserve a spot. Books and materials extra. Classes are held three days per week; pre-preparation (readings, written homework) and consistent attendance are mandatory to progress.
