Questions
What are your vaccination requirements?
We require Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, and Canine Influenza vaccinations. All must be administered at least one week prior to arrival with records provided directly by your veterinarian.
Do you accept all dog breeds?
We cannot accept bully breed classifications or mixed breeds displaying those characteristics due to insurance requirements. All dogs must demonstrate appropriate socialization skills during trial evaluations.
What is your cancellation policy?
Specific policy details appear in our Terms and Conditions. All reservations require advance booking with no walk-ins permitted. Property maintenance closures are scheduled in advance.
How do you handle feeding?
Dogs are separated during feeding times for safety. We accommodate special dietary needs when notified in advance. Owners must provide sufficient food quantities for their dog's stay.

Kleber is a diligent, dependable, and thorough caregiver for the dogs at millbrook dog meadow. we couldn't ask for a safer pair of hands with whom to leave our 12-year-old lagotto when we travel. we have been relying on dog meadow for the past 2 years and have had nothing but the best experiences. when we pick up our dog she is thoroughly exercised, well fed and cared for, and bathed before pick-up. zero hesitation in offering the best possible endorsement.

Dog Meadow is the only place I will ever board my dog in the Hudson Valley area. The property is gorgeous with a huge open field for playing, and you can rest assured knowing your pup is getting a ton of exercise outdoors, proper supervision, priceless socialization with other vetted dogs, and is being cared for by knowledgable, passionate humans who love what they do. We also love seeing the amazing photo updates on Instagram and Facebook. We would 100% recommend Dog Meadow for anyone who is looking to board their pup!

Our dog Winnie attends Dog Meadow once a week.Winnie is a very traumatized Schnauzer who spent her first two years in a cage at a breeder facility. When we first rescued her she was shut down and it took a year before we could pet her. We needed a place that was safe and knowledgeable were Winnie could take her time and learn how to be a dog. Kleber has been awesome in the way that he has helped Winnie to be the best dog she can be. Dog Meadow has been a place that Winnie can feel safe and learn to trust humans again. We've been going there for over a year and even though its hard to see Winnie

Our dog Winnie was a rescue who spent two years in a cage. She needed a safe place to be socialized that didn't use crating. Dog Meadow has worked alongside us to help teach Winnie on how to be a dog. They have let Winnie reset her mind at her own pace. They have been wonderful, and understanding, about her trauma based behavior. I can't thank them enough for the help and guidance I have received from them. Five stars.

The very best of care, attention & fun for our Josh in the 2 years we've had him attend; both Kleber and Laura are absolutely AWESOME in caring for ALL the fur-babies that go to Dog Meadow. The love & concern they extend to them are evident in all the magnificent photos and blogs. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
