History
Report
The Reverend Dr. Aaron C. Coburn, Wooster's founder and the first headmaster, was a powerful man who knew what he believed in and had a very clear idea of why he started a school, and what sort of a school it should be. It was natural, therefore, that during his lifetime and for some years thereafter (in some ways it may even be forever after), his personality and spirit should pervade the atmosphere.

Athletics
Report
Wooster School athletic programs provide students with a competitive, team-based experience designed to teach the skills and dispositions required in team membership, while also developing the individual athlete's skills in a way that maximizes growth and performance.
Like all learning experiences in the Wooster community, athletics is individualized -- we meet our athletes where they are and help them to address weaknesses and build on strengths.

Campus Life
Report
You only have to cross the wooden bridge onto the Wooster School campus to sense there's something that makes this School different - something tangible and wonderful. Perhaps it's the optimistic spirit of this community. It becomes clear that teachers want to teach here, and students want to be here.
