Congressional Federal Credit Union was founded on July 9, 1953, by eight congressional employees with just $40 in deposits. Originally operating from a single desk drawer in the Longworth HOB, the organization has grown into a full-service financial institution serving over 46,000 members nationwide. Our mission remains unchanged: to help Capitol Hill employees achieve their financial goals through tailored products and services.
