Husband and Wife team, Jessica and Rhett Garrard have finally taken the plunge and followed their dreams with opening Sharkies Swim and Scuba Academy! Rhett is the son of Lloyd Garrard (LG) who owned Garrard Dive Educators locally in Smyrna for almost 40 years!
Mr. Garrard is still the PADI Regional Training Coordinator in Georgia!. Rhett has taken his life long passion and Jessica took her savvy business skills and together they molded their dreams into one.

Swim Lessons

We specialize in 1 on 1 attention with our students. We feel that having private attention and focus will help our students learn the fundamentals and master the skills of water survival in the most efficient manner, opposed to sharing time with another student. Once our students reach a personal level of confidence and comfort, we then transition and expand their skill set to master all swim strokes.
Scuba Certification & Scuba Prep

At Sharkies, we provide you with constant attention during your exciting journey. You will have your Instructors personal cell phone number and we will customize your instruction to your schedule. We offer ALL levels of PADI Scuba Diving Certification! We highly recommend your own Mask, Fins and Snorkel.
