BallroomU's Private Lessons are 40 minutes of focused, prepared one-on-one (or couple) instruction. These lessons can be scheduled at your convenience, as our instructors have flexible schedules that can coordinate with yours. We specialize in American style Ballroom & Latin, as well as social Latin and various styles of Swing.
Whether you are looking to get ready for a special event, compete or just have fun- BallroomU has got you covered! While you may learn new dances & material through group classes, they are mainly designed to help you absorb technique & patterns taught to you by your private instructor.

Opened in 2016, BallroomU Dance Studio has been serving the triangle area with it's unique teaching style, state of the art studio, and amazing community of students. BallroomU is committed to giving you a custom-tailored dance education, comparable to none. Our private lessons are tailored to the dances and styling you want to learn.

Start dancing at BallroomU as a newcomer. Get introduced to some of the most popular social dances, meet other dancers like you, and find out what ballroom dancing is all about. Known as Bronze 3 & 4 at other studios, bachelor's students develop free movement around the floor, begin to understand technique, improve footwork, and get an introduction to styling.

Studio Policies

BallroomU encourages students to make the proper accommodations to attend their lessons as scheduled. Students who cancel their private lesson no less than 24 hours in advance are assessed no penalty. Students are highly encouraged to reschedule at the time of cancellation. Students who cancel their private lesson within 24 hours of the scheduled start are assessed the full lesson fee.
