Research now supports that 4 or more years of arts training improves neural pathways which enhance thought processing and learning. There are direct correlations that link arts training to superior academic skills in math and reading as well as enhanced socialization skills such as communication and creative problem-solving.

Our classes are structured first by age, then by ability of the dancer. Children of similar ages have similar physical and emotional capabilities. By placing children in like age groups we are given the opportunity to evaluate each child. Should we feel that a child needs to be replaced in order to better challenge their technical ability or to accommodate their personality, we do so relatively quickly.

Dance Classes

A class designed to enhance the coordination of the ankles and feet, by striking the floor in a rhythmic fashion. It teaches center floor work and progress in tapping with clarity, speed, style and knowledge of terminology. A stylized technique based class that emphasizes long lines and musicality.

Competitive Dance

Carolina Dance Productions offers Three Levels of competitive dance opportunities for dancers ages 5 and up and all levels. Level one Company is for the younger dancers (average age of 5-6) who would like to be a part of the Competitive Dance Company. These competitive dancers only compete at the regional level.
