During your home inspection, the home inspector will take 2 to 4 hours (give or take) to complete a detailed walk-through of the home your looking to buy. It will be a front-to-back and top-to-bottom review of the homes structure (you want a home with good bones). The home inspection will also include its mechanical and electrical systems--including roofs, ceilings, walls and floors, windows and doors.
Your home inspector will verify that the major appliances are functional, take a real close look at the heating and air conditioning systems, examine the plumbing and electrical systems and climb into the attic and down into the basement and/or crawlspace (where accessible). After your home inspection is complete, the inspector will provide you with a written report including pictures.

I will perform an inspection of the interior of the electrical panel by removing the panel cover and checking for any material defects or safety concerns. Approximate age of the units will be determined if able to properly identify the system by label. I will do a visual inspection of the water heater, making sure it is functioning as intended and has all the required safety features.

I received a very thorough and detailed report listing all the different areas of the house. Luckily for us the house has only a few minor issues. I was there during the inspection and Jerry made sure that I understood what he was doing and explained what he was looking at. I believe Jerry to be very professional. Used Taylor Home Inspections to inspect two different homes for me. I was there for both and Jerry was thorough with each home. He explained each issue if he found any, whether small or costly. He also explained how to repair smaller issues if you wanted to go DIY route. When he was finished, he had a report to me within 24 hours detailing everything. He will go into a crawl space for you, an extra $20 I believe. The pricing per home square footage is listed on the website. I will recommend Jerry to anyone I know looking to buy a home
