Pilates Classes
Our small-group Pilates classes (max 6 participants) combine reformer, mat, and infrared modalities to build strength, improve alignment, and enhance mobility. Sessions incorporate movement science principles for controlled, effective workouts tailored to all fitness levels. Classes emphasize community support while ensuring individual progress through instructor-led modifications.
One-on-One Sessions
Personalized 50-minute sessions with certified instructors focus on injury rehabilitation, postural correction, and goal-specific training. Using balanced body equipment and tactile feedback, we develop customized programs to address chronic pain, postpartum recovery, or athletic performance needs with measurable progress tracking.
Teacher Training
Our 550-hour Pilates teacher training program blends anatomy education, biomechanics, and practical teaching experience. Graduates gain expertise in class programming, cueing techniques, and adapting exercises for diverse populations, preparing them to lead both group and private sessions with scientific precision and compassionate instruction.
Infrared Sauna
Michigan's first infrared Pilates studio offers detoxification sessions using deep-penetrating heat that increases circulation and metabolic rate. This non-invasive therapy aids muscle recovery, reduces inflammation, and complements Pilates practice by enhancing flexibility and stress relief through controlled thermal exposure.
Physical Therapy
Licensed physical therapists provide one-on-one care for injury recovery, chronic pain management, and mobility restoration. Treatment plans integrate Pilates-based exercises with evidence-based rehabilitation techniques to improve joint function, prevent re-injury, and build functional strength for daily activities and athletic performance.

Im a 46 year old avid cyclist with a history of lower back and pelvic issues. A history of adolescent power strength training coupled with a major fall in my mid-twenties led to years of 2,400 mg of ibuprofen a day, too many steroid injections to count, and at least half a dozen stints of physical therapy. None of that provided any lasting help or relief. I was introduced to Brooke and her Reforming Foundations practice about 2 years ago. Classes and 1:1 sessions had me feeling stronger than ever.

I started doing private sessions at Reforming Foundations in 2019 when I realized it was cheaper than physical therapy I'd previously tried for hip dysplasia. That quickly turned into me falling in love with pilates and all of the staff. This year my health took a turn for the worse after multiple months of exposure to toxic black mold in my old office. This stirred up more joint issues and I returned for physical therapy since two PTs are now on staff at Reforming Foundations. I also was able to take advantage of the sauna in the studio (which my doctor said was the best way to get rid of mold
