Services
Eye Exams
Comprehensive eye exams assess visual acuity and eye health using advanced tools like OCT imaging. We evaluate prescriptions for glasses and contacts while screening for conditions like glaucoma. Our exams include slit-lamp microscopy and intraocular pressure testing to ensure early detection of diseases, providing a foundation for lifelong vision care.
Glaucoma
We offer preventive glaucoma screenings and customized treatment plans to reduce vision loss risk. Diagnostic tests measure eye pressure and optic nerve health, with treatment options including medicated drops, laser therapy, and co-management with specialists. Early intervention helps maintain long-term eye health and prevent irreversible damage.
Contacts
Our contact lens exams determine optimal prescriptions and fit for soft, rigid gas-permeable (RGP), or orthokeratology lenses. We specialize in correcting astigmatism and keratoconus while providing guidance on proper lens care. In-office accessories ensure convenience for patients requiring daily or extended wear solutions.
Dry Eyes
We diagnose dry eye causes through tear quality and volume tests, offering treatments from artificial tears to prescription medications. Chronic cases may require gland surgery or lifestyle adjustments. Our approach addresses underlying conditions like allergies or autoimmune disorders to restore ocular comfort and prevent corneal damage.
Astigmatism
Specialized toric lenses and RGP contacts correct irregular corneal shapes causing blurred vision. We also evaluate LASIK candidacy for permanent correction. Comprehensive exams measure astigmatism severity alongside other refractive errors, ensuring tailored solutions for improved visual clarity and comfort.

I had a very different experience than the previous poster. Dr. Kalish was thorough during my eye exam and made sure he wasn't over-correcting my vision by lowering my contact lens prescription. He also gave me a good discount on my glasses lenses, which needed to be replaced. He took my vision insurance (Vision Service Plan) with no problem and I never had to wait long for my appointments. The store itself is pretty small, no frills. But Dr. Kalish was friendly and remembered me right away when I came back for my follow-up. I liked the personalized service and had no problems whatsoever.

I had an ok experience at this place, right up until I got my glasses back...and then it all fell apart. I went in to update the presecription in my existing frames; a simple fix that I've had done a number of time before elsewhere. When my glasses were brought back I didn't even recognize them - they were out of shape and round (Note: they were square frames when I dropped them off). Ok I said - this is the labs fault, they place that actually put them in the glasses. Let's try it again, Dr. Kalish andhis optician said they would send them back and get them fixed - no problem
