Clay Cafe Studios is a family-owned and operated business established in 1997. The original owner, Helene Safford, is an artist and musician with a background in technology, business and finance. After founding and owning the studio for 20 years, Helene passed the reins and sold the studio to her longtime manager, Gayla Hassett.
Art Camp

CLAYMAGINATION is an art-intensive summer camp offering specialized instruction and a variety of projects in a small group setting for coed, ages 6 and above. When summer rolls around each year, you have to make a decision about what to do with your children during their time off from school. While some parents are fortunate enough to be able to take the summer off and go on vacation, this might not be the case for you.
Parties

1 1/2 hours of fun for you and your guests. The cost is $25 for each partygoer, which includes a glass nightlight, sun catcher or tile. Parties have a 10-person, 10-glass piece minimum. Reservations are required with a $75 non-refundable deposit. Clay Cafe Studios can help you plan an art party for children or adults.
Glass Fusing

You pick a glass base and components, such as pebbles, squares and strips, from our glass center. Using a few simple techniques, you can make a beautiful work-of-art. We have lots of samples and idea books to help you plan your design? We know it's hard to wait, for your glass masterpiece will be ready for pick up in 2 weeks.
School & Scout Programs

Clay Cafe Studios offers a variety of after-school art enrichment programs in pottery painting, glass fusing and other arts & crafts mediums. Experienced staff provide all of the materials and instruction at your child's school to supplement their art education and explore their creativity. Our programs are designed to fit into existing after-school programs offered at the public and private school throughout the Washington metropolitan area.
