At Benton Hall Academy, we understand and celebrate that all human beings are different. Different in the ways we perceive the world. Different in the ways we express our feelings. Different in the way we relate to others. We have always understood that some students also learn differently than others.

Caleb has friends he shares life with, they laugh and tell stories and play games and look forward to seeing one another; in public school he was butt of every joke and the child other children hid from while out in the community because he "was different." Caleb has found academic success in areas where he is able to succeed and found support and encouragement where he is weak.

Benton Hall Academy starts at grade 3 with grades 3, 4 and 5 being considered lower school and grades 6, 7 and 8 considered middle school. The lower and middle school follow the Tennessee State Standards for all subjects but are able to adjust the pace and provide modifications and/or accommodations for each student as needed.

Benton Hall Academy is discovered every day because of its excellent reputation for educating students with learning differences. Since 1977, parents have said, "Benton Hall Academy saved my child."
