St. James Alumni Association | Supporting Catholic Education in Eddystone
Founded in 1993, the St. James Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of St. James Catholic High School and advancing Catholic education within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Our mission focuses on two core objectives: perpetuating the school's traditions and providing critical financial support to students pursuing Catholic education. Over three decades, we have awarded over $1.9 million in scholarships, currently supporting 40 students across five high schools while offering grants for criminal justice and first responder career paths. Our community impact extends to partnerships with organizations like City Team Ministries, The Salvation Army, and Catholic Social Services, reflecting our commitment to charitable service.Recognized with an Apostolic Blessing from Pope Benedict XVI in 2012 and inducted into The Foundation for Catholic Education's Hall of Fame in 2015, we maintain rigorous financial transparency as a registered participant in Pennsylvania's EITC program. Our operations are governed by a dedicated board of alumni and advisors, with all administrative functions conducted at The Doghouse facility in Eddystone, PA.

I'm proud to say I'm an STJ alum. This organization has done amazing things since the school closed in 1993. Now they are helping worthy students get the education they deserve and many other great things. This venue is chock full of memories and nostalgia, and is a great place to hold your special events. Seek those things which are above!
