Hootenanny House offers group music for every age group. The group experience is a fun and relaxed way to learn new skills. Our welcoming and supportive environment fosters creativity and facilitates social connections between students and parents. We just had my daughter's 5th birthday party with a total of 11 kids and John and Alice did a fantastic job.
Communication was stellar with the planning. Details not forgotten. Pricing was very reasonable and so much included. Upon arrival there were balloons and little surprises everywhere. We were welcomed in such a wonderful way. The music activities were fantastic where they also had areas away from the music where kids could color and do other activities.

Learning to play an instrument (or learning to sing) is a challenging undertaking. Sometimes it seems impossible to get to the "next level" of musicianship. The group method provides a fun and supportive environment to share the learning experience and connect with your musical peers. Most importantly, it prepares you to perform and demonstrate your talents in front of others.

Many studies have established links between music and spatial reasoning, language, math, fine motor skills and executive functioning. Through exposure to musical instruments and a blend of teaching methodologies, our Hooties program helps cultivate your child's innate musicality and provide a foundation for a lifelong passion for music.
