Da Capo Music Studio
The teachers at Da Capo care about our community, and it shows. My kids really like them, and I think that is because they treat them like aspiring young musicians instead of just kids. Da Capo strives to provide a fun, professional learning environment that achieves results. I would highly recommend them!

Students at Da Capo are taught proper technique and musicianship in a fun and creative environment. My family has been attending Da Capo for more than 5 years and we are extremely pleased with our progress. Da Capo was founded on the idea that everyone can be successful in music, and everyone deserves top quality instruction.

Lessons
Report
Your free trial lesson gives us the opportunity to learn about your child, and gives you the opportunity to visit our studio, meet your instructor, and see how we do things at Da Capo. We believe that most children are ready to begin piano at age 5, but we have started students as young as 4 with great success!
Guitar
Report
Guitar lessons at Da Capo incorporate a fool-proof approach that enables students to develop good technique while learning to read music. For beginners, this well-thought approach from the start is essential. For intermediate to advanced students, we place a strong emphasis on music theory, which applies to fretboard awareness, improvisation, and arranging.
Flute
Report
Our flute instructor, Kristin Paxinos, believes the most important goal for lessons is fostering an enjoyment for music that lasts a lifetime. Beginning students will learn proper posture, breathing, and hand position through simple melodies and scales.

Intermediate and advanced students will use a variety of repertoire and technical exercises to develop more advanced aspects of flute playing, including tone, technique, interpretation, and performance.Flute students at Da Capo develop a strong foundation in technique, theory, and reading skills, enabling them to eventually learn to teach themselves.
Euphonium
Report
Our brass instructor, Julia Broome-Robinson, is a trombonist and educator currently based in the Pacific Northwest. She recently advanced to candidacy for the Doctor of Musical Arts program at Arizona State University, and is currently working on her final doctoral project: a series of interviews with prominent women trombonists across diverse international music scenes.
Online Lessons
Report
Online lessons are a great option for any student! Some students prefer to do all of their lessons online, or some prefer a combination of online and in person. Each student has a specific time slot for their lesson, so it is easy to switch back and forth. Another option is a 30 minute in person lesson, and a 15 or 30 minute virtual "check-in" later in the week.
