Children's Corner Preschool is a development-based pre-school program in Petaluma, California. We offer an atmosphere of encouragement where kindness and self-esteem are emphasized in order to stimulate a child's learning and curiosity within a safe, emotionally secure and accepting environment. Recognition is given based on the individual needs of each child.

Children's Corner offers three different class levels. Each level - or preschool classroom - has one or more teachers depending on the size of the class. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for your child. We strive to afford our youngest children at the school with a program that will encourage their social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth during this very special time of life.

Hiring the Children's Corner staff is done with great care and consideration. Hiring is something we don't have to do too often considering the longevity and commitment of our employees. In fact, 15 of our staff members share an average of 15 years of service at Children's Corner. What's more, both our director and assistant director have been at Children's Corner since the beginning (35 years ago).

My 4 year old daughter has been at Children's Corner Daycare Center since she was 2. I visited many daycares before choosing this one. The Director, Jan, immediately made me feel comfortable and I could see what a loving environment all of the staff there had created. Each class follows a similar routine, which consists of morning circle time, curriculum (center based activities which include art, sensory experiences, manipulative, language experiences, dramatic play and free play), snack time, outside time, circle/share and lunch. Administration: Jan Cicchetto (Director) : 35 years experience - both working together and running the school.
