Recitals & Competitions

Students at our school participate in the spring and winter recitals which teach young people to conquer fear and take risks. Music Authority is proud to be affiliated with the American Guild of Music Competition which takes place every spring. Students have the incomparable experience to perform in a competitive atmosphere, opportunity to share the joy of music, and a chance to get encouraged and motivated to strive to be the best.
Piano Lessons

Since 2009 Music Authority has been serving Metro Detroit with professional piano lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. The piano is one of the most iconic instruments of all time. Modeled after other keyboard instruments, the modern piano was invented by Bartolomeo Cristofori at the turn of the 18th century.

The violin is a popular, four stringed instrument, played with a bow. The modern violin evolved from many historical bowed instruments, emerging in 16th century Italy.
