At the Dearborn School of Music, we are committed to providing a quality music education to students of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels. We are devoted to maintaining a learning environment free from commercial distractions, focusing solely on music education. Furthermore, we seek to instill in each student a love for music, and a desire to learn, while fostering both creativity and individuality.
Lastly, we aim to provide our students with the necessary tools to be successful in all of their musical endeavors. Our instructors are passionate about teaching music education. We offer lessons for many musical talents including voice, piano, guitar, bass, woodwinds, brass, strings, reeds, drums, and percussion.

Lessons
Report
Private lessons consist of a thirty minute session that meets once per week. Considering each individual student, the instructor creates a program of study consisting of reading music, familiarity with their instrument, ear training, and music theory. We also offer four optional recitals per year. This gives the student a chance to prepare and perform.
Music for Little Mozarts
Report
Music for Little Mozart's is a 10 week class for children 2-1/2 through 5 with parent, grandparent or practice partner also attending. Each class meets once per week and is 45 minutes in duration. Sessions are offered weekday and weekend mornings and afternoons. Through song, movement, stories and hands on activities my daughter is learning about music in a safe and caring environment.

Dearborn School of Music highly believes that parental involvement enriches student learning. With our ADD A PARENT program the parent learns alongside the child. Emphasising teamwork and playful competition for both child and parent, the program nurtures the relationship through sharing the love of learning and the bond of music.
