Former technology professional turned artisan soap maker, Hilary founded A Slice of Delight in 2009. After living in Senegal from 2011-2012, she returned to Berkeley to continue her craft. She manages all aspects of the business while balancing family life with her husband and twin sons.

I recently ordered two of Hilary's many beautiful soaps, to give to friends for Christmas gifts. It was hard to decide which ones, as they're all so gorgeous. In the end, I decided on her "Coconut Lemongrass" and "Floral Bouquet". My friends were all so pleased to get something handcrafted and so beautifully made and packaged.

I have been using Hilary's totally amazing soaps for many years!!! I absolutely love the scent and the feeling of her soaps on my skin. All natural and invigorating. Cool designs and styles as well. Would fully recommend to all!!!! LOVE!!!!

I am a dentist and I wash my hands ALL - DAY - LONG, at work and at home. As a result, I have a keen appreciation for good soap and A Slice of Delight is GOOOOD soap. First, each soap I have used has lathered beautifully. I really enjoy that 20 seconds or more of washing my hands. The soaps are made with quality ingredients, they smell great, rinse off easily and are very gentle on my skin. I could not ask more from a soap yet Hillary does more.
