Knollwood Farm is Wisconsin's premiere destination for horseback riding lessons and American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) shows and events. Knollwood is owned and operated in Hartland, Wisconsin by nationally renowned trainers Scott and Carol Matton.

We feature one of the state's largest school programs, with a wide variety of horses that can accommodate all ranges of rider - easing beginners into the sport, while still challenging advanced riders.Our world class Saddle Seat lessons are available at prices that every rider can afford, and we are known nationally and throughout the Midwest for producing world champion Saddle Seat riders and horses.

Knollwood Farm LTD, established in 1978 by Scott Matton and now in its fourth decade, is one of the country's most respected horse farms, excelling in training American Saddlebred horses and developing riders through one of the nation's largest and most honored lesson programs. Scott, a second-generation horseman, grew up in the horse business, riding and training American Saddlebred horses all of his life.

Riding Academy Information

Our unique and proven teaching methods offer you the finest instruction available. Whether you are learning to ride for fun or looking to compete, we have a program for you. Safety is our most important concern. Proper attire is required. All students must wear sturdy, hard-soled shoes or boots and long pants made of a soft material.
Summer Riding School
Report
Knollwood Farm's summer riding school is a unique opportunity for children and young adults ages 7-17 to learn all about horses and have fun doing it during sessions from June through August. Each Summer Riding School session closes with a mini horse show and reception with treats. These popular sessions fill up fast, so please give us a call at 262-367-2391 to make sure the week you're interested in has openings.
