Hands On Wheels greatest strength of any driver education program begins with the quality of the school's instructors. All our driving instructors are licensed by the State of Maryland and are subjected to federal background checks. All our employees are courteous, patient, professional, reliable and friendly.
You will have to get a learner's permit in order to drive, but you can start the classes without it. Everyone, regardless of age or experience, is required to get a learner's permit. If you're UNDER 25 you must hold your learner's permit for 9 months and get 60 hours of driving practice (in addition to the six hours included in driver's ed) before you can get a license.

Report
Classroom instruction will be given in 10 three hour sessions, during a minimum of two weeks. Any missed classroom session must be made up to complete the course. We do offer Virtual Classroom instruction as well. All students must score 80% on the final exam to complete the classroom phase of the course.
