My new favorite sushi spot! Everything was so delicious, including the salmon nigiri. The atmosphere is so fancy so it's nice for a celebration of adults doing anything and want to dress up out of sweats.

This is the perfect "Before the Show" spot. We go here before every event at Dr Phillips. I love the ambiance. The food is good and service is quick. If you go to their Happy Hour, their reasonable prices are even better.

Music, food and brunch is good. But had a horrible experience with security. Very unprofessional and wanted to cause an issue with me and my party over something very trivial and unnecessary. Completely made it a negative experience when all we wanted was to leave the establishment on a good note. The security guard was literally cursing at us as we were trying to leave and put his hands on a young woman that is half his size. Completely uncalled for and his behavior needs to be address immediately. Only thing I appreciate is that the GM on duty was willing to help me figure out the situation so

Was really excited to go to Shakai for the first time as a sushi lover but was so disappointed at the service. After paying $100 for the meal I was so frustrated about the entire experience. It wasn’t super busy but once we ordered we waited 20 min for appetizers - they were cold. The server said she was also bringing back sauces but didn’t, so we ate cold calamari with no sauce. Then every dish she brought to the table she sat in front of the wrong person. It was like she was just sitting things on our table with no regard. Then our food took over 30 min - it was 2 sushi rolls! There was no

Sunday Brunch: The DJ and vibes are great… but the service is awful. Some of the waitresses do a great job, others not so much. The kitchen is extremely slow. I’ve gone twice and the first time it took 4 hours to get our food. The management remembered us this next time we came in, and still took 3 hours to get served; new people we brought, also disappointed. If you’re only expecting champagne and music it would be great (except it’s mandatory to get the $50 starter, entre, and bottomless now per our visit today…) the price is fine…but the food is never delivered in a timely fashion

This place is so dope If you're looking to party for brunch! The service is EPIC! HOWEVER, they have no business serving steak. It's super dry and non flavored. Get everything but the steak, amigos! The music is DOPE. THE DJ IS ON FIRE! Come to have a good time!

They have a great happy hour but otherwise the restaurant is too expensive for the portions. I've ordered my same choices in person and on UberEats and the price is significantly higher for Uber. I will say half the reason I like this place is the happy house. It is very matter of fact sushi. Nothing wild but certainly sushi.

So originally this place is naturally closed on Sundays, however I realize that in retrospect they actually do have it open but only for brunch. So as you can see that I posted they do have a brunch menu and it's obviously completely different from sushi. Again, this was on a Sunday afternoon. So I went in with a few friends and we decided to order. I decided to go with the chicken and waffles because it just seem like the most appetizing thing on the menu and the hardest thing for someone to mess up. After that I asked The people sitting next to me what they thought about their meal and she

A decent spot for a sushi luncheon in Downtown Orlando, featuring excellent customer service and a super cool setting. Do not let the initial entrance fool you. There's more to see just around the corner. The full bar, then in full sight, draws you in to a large dining room. Typically, for first visits to sushi houses, I go full bento. My Sake bento (salmon) was...decent. The miso soup was, at best, underwhelming. The salmon itself was a bit too dry for my taste. But I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the fried rice, sushi (with plenty of ginger), tempura, and salad. Very big shout

Decided to try this spot for happy hour after leaving the courtesy on a Thursday evening. We arrived around 6pm and there was plenty of open seating. Within 30 minutes it did start to get pretty packed. The happy hour is great! Such a good deal for various $3 appetizers, $5 regular/special sushi rolls, and some $5 drink specials! I'll definitely be back!
Food: Ordered Gyoza, Edamame, Dynamite Roll, Dragon Roll. The gyoza was not my favorite so I wouldn't order that again but everything else was well worth it.
Drinks: Sake-tini! I had three of them. Flavors were apple and the original

The waitress got our orders in quick and was nice but the food was mediocre at best. The sushi was okay, in my opinion it was too saucy and it was kind of warm when we got it at the table. The restaurant also seemed a bit dirty. I would recommend this place maybe for drinks but not for food. I would go somewhere else for sushi.

I've lost count of how many times I've been to Shakai but it's a favorite of mine, especially during Happy Hour.

The best time to visit is between 5-7p (which is happy hour). They have rolls and apps starting at $3 which is awesome and it goes up to $5! They also have beer that starts at $2...what a steal!!!

Be sure to come early though because it does get packed very quickly.

Service was abysmal. We waited for over 5 minutes to be greeted at the door and another 15 before we were greeted at the table. We were only given the sushi menu and had to go up to the front and wait for one of the hostesses to come back and make eye contact in order to ask for an actual menu. If we hadn't had our hearts set on sushi that night, there's no way we would have stayed after already wasting so much time and being completely ignored by most of the staff who have zero understanding of what customer service is.

Fortunately, we stayed and ordered a few things. The lime edamame

My fiancé and I came here excited for the amazing happy hour deals they offered and left extremely disappointed.

What's misleading is that, yes, about half their roles are at a very discounted price ($5). However, what they fail to mention is that you're also only getting half a roll, the pieces are skinny and smaller than normal, the filling is minimal to what it should be, and the fish on top looked like leftover pieces (I thought I needed a microscope to even see some of them). The presentation was an afterthought and care in the rolling was nonexistent. Most of my pieces fell apart

It was a leap of faith coming to a sushi restaurant that doubles as a night club at night in Orlando. They had happy hour on a Saturday! We were so hungry and wanted to walk somewhere close.

The service was okay.

So this is for HH sushi. We came at the tail end and ordered 3 rolls, some appetizers and some drinks. The seaweed salad, lets be real, came from a bag, no shame its okay. The rolls is where I had an issue with. There was 2 layers of rice on top of what was on the inside. This made the rolls to look bigger than what they were. Also they sliced the rolls SUPER thin to make it look as

Beautiful decor and nice ambiance! The restaurant was not very crowded when we arrived around 8pm on a Saturday night. Our waitress was sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. She suggested an unfiltered Sake, which we enjoyed very much, and she made a few other suggestions regarding food.

My husband and I split the Spicy Scallop roll, which was certainly spicy! But very flavorful. I had two other rolls that were pretty average-- not bad, but nothing worth coming back for. My husband has the Chicken Teriyaki, and the Teriyaki sauce was outstanding! The waitress said the chef prides himself on
