Professional Ballet Performances & Training in Palm Beach County
Ballet Palm Beach has been inspiring audiences through the timeless art of ballet since its founding in 2001. Originally established as Florida Classical Ballet Theatre, our organization transitioned into a professional ballet company in 2013, now comprising 15 dancers including both professionals and trainees. Under the artistic direction of Colleen Smith, we have presented innovative productions while maintaining classical traditions, collaborating with renowned choreographers like Christopher Huggins and Gina Patterson. Our company has grown from a small civic organization to a respected cultural institution, offering five mainstage performances annually at the Kravis Center for Performing Arts.We prioritize community engagement through outreach programs like Ballet by the Book and Ballet in the Balcony, bringing dance to diverse audiences across Palm Beach County. Our academy provides comprehensive dance training to students aged 3 and up, with a 30-year legacy of developing technically proficient artists while fostering discipline and self-respect. With support from major cultural institutions and private donors, we continue expanding our programming to enhance regional arts education and accessibility. Our performances combine technical excellence with emotional storytelling, creating memorable experiences for both seasoned ballet enthusiasts and first-time attendees.

A truly remarkable place. I remember the goosebumps of watching Gatsby, The Nutcracker, the recent student showcase, and Cinderella. I wish I would have discovered this place sooner. If you want to feel goosebumps, get chills, and feel pure passion flying through the theater, then you've come to the right place. The dancers are not only incredibly talented, but also so powerful in the movement of their bodies. I rated this a 5 star, but if I would rate 10x more if possible. So happy I discovered this studio, they truly make magic.
