We are an ideal location for boarders who just want to spend relaxing private time with their horse no matter what their interest may be: showing, training, starting a young horse, retraining an older horse, conditioning, competitive training, or simply relaxing with a friend and trail riding.

Potomac Riverside Farm features exceptional facilities to accommodate your training needs or recreational requirements. This is a facility known for highly qualified, professional and personal care for each individual horse. The property owner is the resident manager and a lifelong knowledgeable and experienced horse person.

We are fortunate to have several outstanding trainers / instructors of all disciplines who visit our boarding stable to instruct and train with many of our boarders and regularly visiting clients. We have a very independent and relaxed atmosphere.
The riding lessons with instructors and horse trainers are for many different disciplines, which include dressage, hunter jumper, eventing, basic balance seat and flat work, trail riding and for the eventing enthusiast we have plans to build a cross country course.Several of the trainers specialize in Horsemanship Problem Solving Horse Training.

We offer non-horse owners a shared lease program in which they may have unlimited riding time for only $380 per month. You may choose any of the school horses, ride any day you choose, for as long as you want. You may lease a well-trained and very gentle school horse. There are many school horses to choose from trained in dressage and jumping and all are great on trails.
