Edmund Heinzel founded D&H Lawn Irrigation in 1962 and quickly earned a loyal following around the Chicago area for his hands-on approach and ability to expertly design, install, and service underground lawn sprinkler systems.
Edmund Heinzel was followed into the business by his son, Richard Heinzel, Sr. and, later, his grandson, Richard Heinzel, Jr. Today, D&H Lawn Irrigation, Inc. vice president Ryan Heinzel represents a fourth generation in the family-owned firm that remains one of Chicagoland's premier lawn irrigation companies.

Each Spring, D&H opens the water main to your irrigation system and goes through each hydro-zone's operation mechanically and electrically to make sure everything is working properly. We remove excess grass from around all of the sprinkler heads (picking up the clippings behind us) and we adjust the timer so that your system will operate according to your needs.
Rpz
Report
We install, repair, and certify existing backflow devices for domestic water, fire protection and lawn irrigation systems. Upon completion of an inspection, we will send all necessary reports directly to the proper agency or municipality. We install and service RPZ devices that range in size from " through 12".
