I interviewed three realtors and Chris, far and away, seemed to possess the most expertise. He handled the details quite well and, in one day, brought in three bids with the top bid at $100,000 over my asking price...as well as the price the other realtors had recommended. He had open house most every weekend and kept advising us on
any current buy/sell information that could be pertinent to keeping
our house interesting to the buyers. Many times Chris managed to find time to help out beyond the call of his normal work activities. Once Chris didn't hesitate to arrange buying a new furnace and having it installed so that there was no delay in getting it ready for the buyers. We met Chris outside one home that had been recently purchased. The "for sale" sign was still on, the open house was supposed to happen that afternoon. However, someone had already bought it the previous night. Chris went there specifically to let potential buyers know that it was already sold and there was no open house. We felt hopeless in a market where $100-$200k or more above asking is the norm. They were very cheerful and professional and sold our house in about 2 weeks. . They also didn't hesitate to drive all the way out to Danville which is over an hour from their office to show us at least two dozen houses on numerous different days.
