Legacy River Equestrian Center is a premier full service hunter/jumper training and boarding facility located in Sugar Grove, Illinois. Training is provided by our experienced staff and our on-site management oversees all day-to-day operations. Legacy River Equestrian Center's program is dedicated to helping riders and horses of all levels achieve their goals in a safe and encouraging environment.

John grew up riding at Primrose Farm in St. Charles, IL which is owned by his grandparents and he started showing at a very young age. At the age of 15 John began working with Alex Jayne at Our Day Farm and was able to travel the country showing in Wellington, Kentucky, Chicago, Harrisburg, Washington, and Detroit.

Our trainers are experienced equine professionals that are committed to offering their customers an individualized program and helping riders and their horses to achieve their riding goals in the hunter, jumper and equitation rings.

Whether you're looking for assistance with the development of a young horse, looking to be competitive with a show horse or looking to further your riding skills through our lesson program, Legacy River Equestrian Center is devoted to providing its customers with the training to do so.Our lesson package gives customers the option to purchase (10) 30-minute private lessons and receive 1 additional lesson free.
Sales, Lease and Share-board Horses

The following is a list of our in house share-board horses and sale horses available. Share-board horses are available exclusively to our Legacy River Equestrian Center customers. Share-boarding is a great option available for our customers who are not quite ready commit to an annual lease or purchasing of a horse.
