We are an educational service caring for the Winthrop community since 1993. Our programs include care for infants through age 6. Here at PTLC, we strive to provide an exciting and educational environment for your child. Children learn best through exploration and discovery, mixed in with consistency and structure.

Pleasant Times Learning Center is a place where kids can thrive, explore the world around them, and be themselves! We want our parents to come here and feel safe, connected, and a part of their child's journey through PTLC. We see ourselves as a family and we welcome yours to join!. PTLC was founded in 1993 by the late Roseann Tavares.

Our highly-trained team strives to make sure every classroom has a safe and engaging atmosphere that will keep your child happy during class time, while also fostering positive relationships with families. Staff members are certified, experienced and share a mission of developing a positive foundation for young learners.
What We Do

We focus on the whole child by integrating social and emotional development into our programming. Through small and large group play activities we promote self esteem and positive interactions. We also build healthy body images through our food program and fostering a safe environment for self expression.
