Services
Pain Management
Our comprehensive pain management services address chronic conditions through personalized treatment plans. We combine interventional procedures, medication management, and behavioral therapies to target pain sources like herniated discs, sciatica, and neuropathy. Patients receive customized care from board-certified specialists using the latest diagnostic tools and minimally invasive techniques to improve mobility and quality of life.
Interventional Procedures
Specialized interventional procedures include spinal cord stimulators, radiofrequency ablations, and epidural injections. These targeted treatments disrupt pain signals using advanced techniques like the mild Procedure for spinal stenosis and SI joint fusion for pelvic pain. Our physicians perform these outpatient procedures with precision imaging guidance to ensure optimal placement and effectiveness for lasting pain relief.
Physical Therapy
Physical therapy programs focus on restoring mobility and strengthening affected areas through customized exercise regimens. Our therapists work closely with pain specialists to develop rehabilitation plans that complement medical treatments, addressing conditions like plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff injuries, and post-surgical recovery. This integrative approach helps patients regain function while reducing reliance on pain medications.
Medication Management
Our medication management service optimizes pain control through carefully monitored pharmaceutical treatments. Pain specialists evaluate each patient's needs to prescribe appropriate medications as part of comprehensive care plans. This includes intrathecal pump implantation for targeted drug delivery and careful monitoring of medication effectiveness to ensure safe, effective pain relief while minimizing potential side effects.
Behavioral Health
Behavioral health services address the psychological aspects of chronic pain through counseling and coping strategies. Our specialists help patients manage stress, anxiety, and depression associated with long-term pain conditions. This holistic approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy and pain coping classes to improve patients' mental well-being and overall treatment outcomes through mind-body connections.

Dr. Vaughn Howe his assistant are the best. Everytime I come in they are both so nice and professional. I would recommend them to anyone who is needing help with pain. Dr. Howe looks for other options other than just pain pills, he likes to get to the root of the problem which is refreshing.

I've been a patient at Peninsula Pain Clinic, Bremerton Location for approximately 3.5years. Wes is my provider. He is very professional and at the same time, very personable. He treats me with respect; he listens to my complaints and offers sound advice and it helps tremendously that he has a solid background in Orthopaedics. In addition, the front and back-office staff are compassionate and professional. Thank you for treating me so well.

Jackie always is so friendly and professional. She shows she cares when you come to your appt. She has even helped my granddaughter not fear doctors anymore. Vaughn has been the best. He always listens and wants to know how he can help. He cares and is always happy. They both make my Dr appts so much better . Wished we had more than five stars to give. They deserve it.

I started working with Vaughn a few months ago and was sold within 5 minutes of meeting him and his team. I truly appreciate my opinion being included in any changes to my medications. Vaughn and Jackie have taken the stress out of chronic pain management and I would recommend them to anyone without questions.

From the minute you walk into the clinic you feel very welcomed. Thank you Michelle! Once in your room Jackie comes in to take your vitals and once again you feel not only welcomed but like you met a new friend. Then Vaughn comes in to go over your medical needs. Hes thorough and thoughtful yet makes you feel like youre his next door neighbor. (The one you like!) Never have I been so comfortable in a medical setting. These people are great!
